Makoto Ozone, born in 1961, is a Japanese pianist jazz. He began playing the organ at 2 years old and at 7 was an improviser. Between 1968 and 1970 appeared on Japanese television with his father. After 12 years spent at the piano, struck by Oscar Peterson discs. In 1980 he entered the Berklee College of Music and later worked with Gary Burton. It also had its debut in 1983 before returning to his native Japan. Ozone has collaborated with vocalist Kimiko Itoh.
